Systems administrator for a division of Siemens that makes DSL routers, and cordless phones. Responsibilities include the following:

  • Datacenter management, architecture and implementation, production support, data and network security.
  • Systems administration, UNIX Sun Solaris, Linux RedHat Ubuntu, Windows Server, NetApp filer, Cisco ASA firewall, routers, switches, and Veritas NetBackup.
  • Technical lead and contractor personal manager.
  • Internet security deputy officer for local company, with responsibility for compliance to all Siemens security policies, network vulnerability scans, patch management, and reporting to executive management.
  • Data backup and recovery, disaster planning, process documentation, change management technical lead.
